EPM was notified of the first-instance decision by the Seventeenth Oral Administrative Court of the Medellín Circuit denying the claims of an Action for Annulment against Agreement No. 009, 2024 (by which the Medellín City Council authorized the sale of EPM's shares in UNE). EPM informs that, as was done with units 1 and 2, in order to synchronize units 3 and 4 of the Hidroituango power plant, all start-up tests were carried out in accordance with international standards. For the 4 units, different tests were carried out such as slow turning, idle balancing, speed, and tension regulator adjustments, among others. During all these tests, the stability and vibrations of the units were verified, concluding that their behavior – amplitude and frequencies – is similar to that of units 1 and 2. This information was collected and validated by experts from the manufacturer and EPM using different special equipment.
